Introduction of Pushing Force Test of Syringe

1. Purpose of the test

 

Use the universal material testing machine to test the pushing force of the syringe, understand the situation in actual use, and evaluate the product quality

 

2. Test environment

Temperature: (23±2)

Relative humidity: (50±10)%

 

3. Test principle

Push the syringe advancing rod at a constant speed, and install the injection needle during the experiment to simulate the actual use. The push rod is pushed at a constant speed and the sample in the syringe is pushed out through the needle. Get the push force curve. From the push force curve, we can see the change of the push force during the extrusion process of the sample. If the push force is small, the sample is easily extruded; if the push force is large, the sample is not easily extruded. In addition, the high and low drop of the pushing force is large, indicating that the sample has uneven dispersion or aggregation and concentration, which will also affect the chirality during injection.

 

4. Pushing force testing machine

5. Test steps

5.1 Equilibrate the samples stored in the refrigerator at 2-10 to room temperature, install the injection needle, and push the syringe to remove a small amount of air at the front end

5.2 Connect the power to the testing machine, turn the switch button on the testing machine, and start the testing machine.

5.3 Start the computer and open the testing machine software

5.4 Select the appropriate test method in the testing machine software and create a new test. Input test time, sample information, test person, etc. on the data board

5.5 Securely install the syringe sample on the testing machine fixture.

5.6 Clear the value on the test software to zero

5.7 Set the test speed to 30mm/min and click to start the test. The testing machine pushes the plunger of the syringe at a speed of 30mm/min, and displays the test force and test curve in real time

5.8 When the test is over, the test results are automatically saved, and the test report can be printed by connecting to a printer.

5.9 If there are multiple samples, repeat the above steps to perform the next test.
